A Chinese Daoguang period (1820-50) famille rose bowl, of fluted form, the white glaze decorated with flowers and insects, heightened with a gilt rim, seal mark to base, height 7cm, diameter 16cm.
Two hairline cracks running from the rim downwards, each approx. 5cm in size.
Extensive rubbing to the gilt rim.
Small loss to the enamel throughout.
Scuffing and scratching to the interior well of the bowl.
