A 19th Century mahogany bergere cane library chair in the manner of Gillows, the shaped bar back over carved arms, on reeded turned legs to the front, some damage to the cane work and the frame.
Amended condition - The seat and the right hand side are extensively holed and will require re-caning. There are dowelled repairs to the tops of both of the front legs and splitting is evident at the top of the right hand front leg. There is a filled repair to the outside of the seat rail on the right hand side. The joints to the frame have opened in places. Some scuffs, scratches and minor dents. The castors are loose.
