A George III line inlaid walnut veneered and pine kneehole writing desk, fitted with an arrangement of seven drawers around the central kneehole cupboard, all over bracket feet, height 69.5cm, width 76.5cm and depth 49.5cm, S/D.

The veneer to the top has lifted and blistered in places. There are numerous small losses of veneer to the edges of the top, sides and drawer fronts. The kneehole is stained pine - old woodworm damage is apparent to this area and also around the feet and base. The cupboard door is a little warped. Numerous small old repairs to include sections of veneer replacement and infill. The feet have been re-tipped and then re-veneered in places. There is no key.
The top drawer is very stiff. The other drawers operate Ok but are a little stiff.
