A 19th Century Turkoman Yomud Asyk pendant, probably Western Kazakhstan, white metal and gilded with applied and polished central carnelian, diameter 11cm, together with a collection of eight Turkoman beads, the white metal and part gilded beads of varying design, with hammered and engraved geometric designs, bead lengths 2.5cm and 4cm.
NB - Pendants such as this were often made out of low grade silver with three individual pendants hanging from one necklace. They were frequently part of a wedding dowry.
Untested, likely to be low grade silver.
Small dents, scratches and wear as to be expected.
