A late 19th Century French Faience ware egg cup set by Desvres Fourmaintraux, the rectangular carry frame with rope effect border and handle to hold the six pedestal egg cups, the whole enamelled with flowers and foliage, painted marks, together with an octagonal covered jar and a small pedestal vase and a small circular plate, damages. (4)
More Information
The egg cup set shows some losses to the edges of the cups and fritting to the glaze. The finial on the covered jar has been broken and repaired.
