NB - W M Hands was killed Saturday May 12th 1917, aged 21, and was buried at Lijssenthoek cemetery, Vlaanderen, Belgium. He was son of George and Eileen Hands from Drakes Cross Hollywood Birmingham. He was awarded the military medal which is now missing.
