A 1970s John Bonham owned and worn Western style cream coloured embroiderd shirt, worn for a shooting day for the film The Song Remains The Same, with label 'California Ranchwear', armpit to armpit 23", length 27", arm length 23".
PROVENANCE - This shirt has been consigned directly from Allan Weaver, John Bonham's brother in law.
After the first suit, a pinstripe example made by John H. Robinson, was sold at Fieldings Auctioneers on 25th September 2025, lot 168, Mr. Weaver decided to consign the further items he had kept over the years. This shirt was the same one as in the picture, taken sometime during 1973 during a photo shoot day preparing for the film “The Song Remains the Same”. It was taken at Old Hyde Farm picturing him holding his bull, Bruno.
