George Tinworth - Doulton Lambeth - A stoneware desktop letter rack, the central stepped compartments with incised floral decoration, flanked to each side with a figure dressed in Roman guard attire, picked out in typical salt glazed palette and finish, incised monogram to reverse and impressed marks to base, width 37cm.

Firing cracks have been filled and possibly restored, but overall very clean and condition commensurate with age and wear.
