An early 20th Century Turkoman Yomud Asmalyk (ceremonial camel adornment), 64cm x 40cm.
NB - Asmalyks were made in pairs to decorate the flanks of the bride's camel at her wedding ceremony. This is an unusually small example possibly to adorn a young camel given as a wedding gift.
