George Fullard, ARA (1923-1974) - 'Storm, 1957', bronze, cast posthumously as an edition of three, height 49.5cm.
This bronze typical of Fullard's objet trouve assemblages. Pieces of wood, bottle caps, even model toys were embedded into the plaster to create the desired form. In the early 1950s Fullard explored the traditional theme of 'Mother and Child' both in drawing and bronze.
Provenance :
Corley Fullard, artist's sister, given to Geoff and Jean Dudley (friend and fellow RCA students), then given to present vendor, a sculptor.

bronze in excellent condition
The vendor has a letter from the gentleman who cast the bronze but unfortunately he only signed it with his first name, Steve, and no surname. The vendor is unable to remember the gentleman's last name.
