A large 19th Century Continental meat plate manufactured at Cappellemans Aine & W. Smith & Co of both Jamappes Wallonia, Belgium and Stockton, the central well hand enamelled in polychrome enamels with figures selling fruit, vegetables and game to a rural setting within a flowering rose border, printed mark to the reverse, width 54cm, damaged.
There is a hairline to the rim and some minor wear to the enamel.
