G.P.O. (General Post Office) - A 'Pyramid' style telephone in a red painted case, stamped to base with indistinct serial numbers 50... and the oval stamp to the handset worn, but ending with the digits 64, later repairs and alterations, slight damage.
Amended condition report - This is offered for sale as a Pyramid style phone as opposed to an original example. It would appear that the telephone has been painted red and that the handset may have been been from a different telephone originally, but has been painted to match the base. The digits at the end of the code on the handset indicate that the handset dates from 1964. There are some cracks around the mouthpiece of the handset. The telephone is sold 'as seen' and has not been tested.
