An English Electric Lightening aircraft canopy, painted in original colours with the glass shaped panels bordered in yellow, retaining some internal fittings, height 58cm x depth 72cm x length 150cm.
NB - The English Electric Lightening was a British fighter/interceptor which served from the 1960s to the 1980s. It was built to defend against the anticipated Russian nuclear threat targeting airfields. It had an exceptional rate of climb and was capable of a Mach speed above 2.
Some old scratches and paint loss to the canopy but no cracks to the glass.
