David Bowie - The Man Who Sold The World, Mercury 6338041, first pressing, 'Dress Cover', silver and black labels, with produced by 'Tonny Visconti' misprint to the labels, with insert, runout 6338041 1Y//1 420 1 1 3 & 2Y//1 420 1 1 1.

NB - The 'Dress Cover' is a rare and sought after first pressing example of this 1971 release, which was quickly pulled from the shelves due to the, at the time, highly controversial cover. The misspelling of 'Tonny' also adds to the rarity of this second release from David Bowie. 

Provenance - This item was purchased by the current owner in Chester and has been in his possession ever since.

Record - In incredibly clean condition. Overall EX. With a very faint line to side 2 tracks 1-3. There is no indentation to the wax and may possibly clean off.
Small wear to the sticker at the central hole.

Cover - Sticker to the back right cover. Sold by Boots Eastgate Row, Chester.
Overall shelf wear to all corners and edges. with some small losses to the paper.
