Broth - A large Clarice Cliff 18 inch ribbed charger circa 1929, hand decorated around the border with a deep band of abstract motifs and bubbles in orange, blue and black within black, orange and green banding, Fantasque mark, width 45cm.
NB - A 1928 Fantasque design, this pattern was a mass of circles and lines inspired by fat floating on top of broth! Clarice based this on an element of a pattern by John Butler who she had worked under as an apprentice.

Free from damage or restoration, there are a couple of very small scuffs to the enamel.
