A George III mahogany crossbanded oak kneehole dressing chest fitted with a single long drawer below a projecting moulded edge top over recessed cupboard door and flanked by fitted cupboards to either side enclosed by urn paterae inlaid detail, some damage and later repair, height 84cm x depth 61cm x width 93cm.
More Information
The top may be a later replacement. There is some damage to the cock-beading around the edges of the frieze drawer. Some small sections of mahogany crossbanded veneer missing. There is no key.
