Attributed to Daisy Makeig Jones - Wedgwood - A Commemorative Queens Ware mug, made for the wedding of Lady Ursula Grosvenor, the elder daughter of the 2nd Duke of Westminster, to Mr. W.P. Filmer-Sankey on 23rd July 1924, printed in under-glaze blue with monograms flanked by horses, impressed and printed factory marks, height 8cm.
NB. It is believed that such mugs were presented to the estate workers to commemorate the marriage event.
