An early 19th Century Sunderland lustre plaque, circa 1820, moulded in relief with a bust profile portrait of Queen Caroline wearing a plumed hat under crown flanked by initials Q C, with integral frame, picked out in tonal pink, purple, green and black, height 13.5cm.

n literature, the True-Blooded Yankee was also the name of an American privateer ship during the War of 1812. According to a Tumblr post referencing Captain Frederick Marryat's novel Frank Mildmay, the ship was involved in naval engagements against British vessels. The novel describes the True-Blooded Yankee as being captured by the British, highlighting the perilous nature of privateering during the war
