An Iranian Ardebil hand knotted wool rug/wall hanging, circa 1960, the red ground with central geometric motif, picked out with square section and concentric borders, in ochre, green and black, one end is tasselled, 142cm x 119cm.
Provenance - Purchased in Iran in the 1960s.

Colours are still good, overall condition is clean, slight fraying to the edges, no major rips or holes.
