Levers Brothers Limited - A late 19th Century mahogany revolving shop counter top display cabinet for Levers toilet soaps, makers to Queen Victoria, fitted with three glass shelves above a champhered stand, height 62cm x 33cm square.

More Information

Revised condition report - The glass triangular panels to the top of the cabinet do, in our opinion, appear to be original to the cabinet. The lettering to these panels is a little faded and there are some small scuffs and rubs in places. There is a bubble towards the surface of one of these panels that has popped in the manufacturing process - this is located beneath the letter 'L' of Lever's Toilet Soaps. The glass side panels appear to be OK, but the internal shelves have been replaced. There is a chip out of one of the corners of the thumb-moulded base of the cabinet. The cabinet appears to have been re-stained.
